Child Rights & Welfare
Impact Focus
Child Rights & Welfare
At Thisaigal Foundation, we believe that every child deserves a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment to grow, learn, and thrive. Our programs focus on protecting children from abuse, ensuring access to education, and fostering emotional and social development — so every child can experience childhood with dignity, protection, and opportunity.
What We Do
01. Child Protection & Safety Awareness
We conduct programs on child rights, safety laws, and abuse prevention (including physical, emotional, and online abuse). We work with communities, parents, schools, and authorities to ensure children are protected and heard.
02. Education Support & Learning Access
We assist children from vulnerable and marginalized backgrounds by supporting school enrollment, academic guidance, career awareness, and access to learning resources — because education is a right, not a privilege.
03. Counseling & Emotional Wellbeing
Through psychological support, child-friendly counseling, and referral services, we help children who face trauma, neglect, or violence rebuild confidence, emotional stability, and hope.
04. Community Awareness & Capacity Building
We organize workshops for parents, teachers, caregivers, and communities to create safe, child-friendly environments and promote positive parenting, empathy, and inclusive development.
05. Advocacy for Child Rights
We collaborate with institutions, families, and communities to ensure every child's fundamental rights — safety, education, nutrition, identity, and emotional wellbeing — are respected and protected under the law.
06. Child Development & Support Programs
We conduct developmental, recreational, and empowerment programs such as storytelling, arts, sports, life skills training, and value-based learning to help children grow socially, creatively, and emotionally.
Empowering Women for a Better Tomorrow
Through awareness programs, legal guidance, and skill-development training, we help women gain confidence, protection, and self-reliance. Because when women rise, communities rise with them.
