About Our Foundation

A New Direction for Social Change

Thisaigal Foundation began with one individual’s vision to create a better society. Today, it has grown into a trusted non-profit organization that empowers women, protects children, promotes education, and supports sustainable livelihoods. Through every initiative, we strive to create meaningful social change and bring hope to thousands of lives.

Our mission is to empower underprivileged communities by ensuring access to essential services, quality education, and sustainable livelihood opportunities, enabling them to become self-reliant and lead better lives.

To build a self-reliant society where every individual enjoys a life of dignity with access to quality education, healthcare, and equal rights. We envision a compassionate and inclusive society that rises above the barriers of caste, religion, and social status.

A Brief History of Thisaigal

M/s Thisaigal Foundation, established in 2022, works towards women empowerment and child development through its unique EDGE concept – Education and Development towards Gender Equality. The foundation supports unemployed rural women by providing vocational and skill training, awareness programs, and income-generation opportunities, enabling self-employment and industrial placement across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

A Brief History

A Brief History of Thisaigal

Started as a small group in 2010, Thisaigal has grown into a massive tree today. Every year, we continue to reach new milestones. "Every step we take is towards a child's future."

2010

Foundation Journey

Initiated by three friends, our first journey began by distributing books to rural students.

2015

Educational Scholarship Scheme

We began providing complete financial aid for the college education of 100 economically underprivileged students.

2020

Disaster Relief Support

During the pandemic, we provided essential food and medical facilities to over 5,000 families.

2024

Digital Learning Centers

We have successfully established 10 state-of-the-art digital learning centers across major villages in Tamil Nadu.
